fortune teller...

I tend to find really random things in my gigantic purse. That's one of the pluses of having said gigantic purse, you get surprises every once in a while. Surprises delight me, especially because I usually ruin surprises by snooping and having anxiety when I don't know what's going on.

At the bottom of my satchel I found a fortune cookie* (still in the wrapper, albeit smooshed all to hell) and this little gem of wise words inside:

"Your troubles will soon cease and good fortune will smile upon you."

Freakin' sweet. Smile on, good fortune. Smile on.

*and don't worry, I didn't eat the cookie. It was probably a few months old.
