little swappies in nyc!

5.22.2014

so... it's that time again!

my friends over at little swappies, an organization dedicated to their community and to giving back to all mothers, are hosting their next swap in nyc on may 31st. the concept of this event is simple: bring 8 or more items of gently used baby and kids items (clothes, books, toys, etc.) and take home up to twenty items that you may need. clean out your closets and get new stuff that you actually need and will use. it's a win-win, really. plus, it's a family friendly event so kids and hubs will have some fun, too.
more importantly, any items left over from the swap will be going to room to grow, an organization dedicated to "enriching the lives of babies born into poverty throughout their critical first three years of development... during their one-on-one appointments with staff social workers, parents receive developmental information, customized support, and all of the needed baby items to ensure a healthy and secure start for their child." i can stand behind that.

i really hope to see some of you there!
