on thursday it nearly reached fifty degrees. that basically translates as a tropical heat wave. and wouldn't you know it? the sun does, in fact, still exist. we went on a walk with karolina and phoenix over to the carousel and, on our way, you found a spout coming down from the scaffolding with water shooting out of it from the melting snow. it appeared to be the most amazing thing you had ever seen. i was equally amused until you tried- and succeeded- to drink the water pouring out of it onto the sidewalk. i keep telling myself that things like this are simply and aid in building a super-charged immune system. but. it just really grosses me out.
