I made this slice of flat bread deliciousness (please, forgive the iphone photo) for dinner tonight. Caramelized balsamic onions, thinly sliced proscuitto, fresh mozzarella medallions, all topped off with a chiffonnade of fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil. I also grilled romaine hearts for a salad and added a lemon basil dressing (homemade, obviously. I don't really do store-bought dressing, I'm a snob like that). Combine the meal with perfectly not-too-hot weather, a fab new set of patio furniture, and crisp white wine- it makes me very thankful for the season and particularly thankful for that guy that shares my meals with me every night.

In other words, it was perfection. Happy Tuesday!
