the 52 project | 01

last year, so many mamas did the 52 project. i honestly didn't see the point because of instagram and facebook. but, the truth is that time has flown by so quickly that i regret not having proper documentation of your growth. so, this year, we're doing it. i want to capture who you are in these pictures so that i can remember them forever and one day share them with you. i love you to the moon and back, sweet child of mine, and i want to remember you just as you are.

one of the things that i love most about you is your innate curiosity. often times- every day, in fact- you'll grab onto my finger and pull me over to our large windows which look down upon the cobblestone streets. you point and grunt until i pick you up and place you on the window sill. we search for puppies and babies in strollers and the train traveling under the bridge. i love the look you get in your eyes and the oh shape your mouth makes when you find whatever it is that you're looking for. it's one of my favorite moments of our day.
